Like the rest of the range, the 2020 GLC plug-in hybrid is slightly redesigned from the front and rear, upgraded from the
inside, and sees the acquisition of the new MBUX infotainment system from Mercedes - complete with the digital assistant functionality.
The battery pack was expanded from 8.7 kWh to 13.5 kWh. The old GLC plug-in refilled its batteries via a 3.6 kW on-board charger. However, the new version features a 7.4 kW device that allows the charge to be replenished with electrons in less than eight hours at a standard 120 volt level 1 / household plug. Using a level 2 240-volt source can recharge the battery 80 percent in just over two hours.
Other changes include a new steering wheel with capacitive buttons to control larger interior cluster and center console screens, standard LED headlamps and tail-lights, and the latest Mercedes driver assistant technologies, including the Active Lane Change Assistant.

Mercedes is known for its stability, durabilty and it's Classic look.
